Homebuyers should not miss out this final chance to shop for dream home or hunt for best property with HOC 2020 - 2021
With the Home Ownership Campaign (HOC) ending this December 2021, it's now or never to take advantage of this promotional period to get that dream home you've always wanted.
The Home Ownership Campaign (HOC) was first launched in 2019 and reintroduced in 2020 as a government effort to refresh the property market and provide financial relief to home buyers. It was originally slated to end on May 31st 2021, but was extended to December 31st 2021.
The HOC is a joint effort between the Housing and Local Government ministry (KPKT) and the Real Estate and Housing Developers' Association (REHDA) Malaysia to help Malaysians purchase their first properties and also help clear out Malaysia's property overhang.
The biggest perks that come from the HOC 2020-2021 are financial ones. Here are some of the things that you save if you purchase a property under the HOC 2020-2021 programme:
All Malaysian homebuyers are eligible for the HOC 2020-2021. There is no limit to the number of purchases. This applies to properties sold between 1 June 2020 and 31 December 2021 in Peninsular Malaysia, but the properties must be registered with REHDA Malaysia. In Sabah, it is with properties registered to Sabah Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (SHAREDA) while for Sarawak, it is with properties registered to Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers' Association (SHEDA).
The campaign is only open to residential properties in the primary market, which are homes that have either been launched or completed. These new residential properties must be purchased directly from developers with an Advertising Permit & Developers License (APDL) like M Group. However, subsale properties are not qualified for the HOC programme.
Can't wait to purchase your new home under the HOC 2020-2021 before the end of the year? Look no further — M Group has several projects available under the HOC 2020-2021 programme in the North, South, and Central region of Peninsula Malaysia:
